Curry Crab Dip

This quick-fix appetizer has been a staple in our house for as long as I can remember. It’s creamy and warm, and best of all it can be whipped up in ten minutes or less. The curry powder gives it a bright yellow color, which is perfect for spreading on French bread or for dipping with Fritos or crudite.

Curry Crab Dip

Yield: 6-8 servings

Prep Time: 5 min

Cook Time: 10 min

Ingredients:

1 6-oz. container lump crab meat
1 8-oz. package of cream cheese
½ cup mayonnaise
3 Tablespoons curry powder
2 Tablespoons lemon juice

Directions:

Place a non-stick pot over medium heat and add the crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, curry powder and lemon juice.

Stir the mixture constantly until the cream cheese melts.

Serve the hot dip with Fritos, sliced French bread or veggies.

Helpful hint: The dip is best when served warm, so place the dish over a warming plate or serve it in a fondue pot.
