In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and onion soup mix. Cook, breaking the meat apart with a spatula, until it is no longer pink. Carefully drain any grease from the pan.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Halve the rolls widthwise and place the bottom half on the baking sheet. Arrange four slices of cheese in a single layer atop the rolls.
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the meat onto the cheese then place the remaining four slices of cheese atop the ground beef.
Place the top half of the rolls on the sliders. Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter then sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
Bake the rolls until the cheese is melted and the rolls are toasted, about 10 minutes, then serve.
