Can homemade bread recipes without yeast still be deliciously light, fluffy and flavorful? You bet! Now, not only can you make them, but you can master them.

Eliminating yeast from traditional recipes for sandwich bread, pizza dough, cinnamon rolls, doughnuts and more dramatically speeds up the time it takes to go from raw ingredients to fluffy, airy DIY dough indulgences.

Keep it simple and savory with no-yeast bread, the best-ever tortillas (hello, 30-minute recipe!) and the fluffiest pizza dough, or take a spin on the sweet side with cinnamon rolls and glazed doughnut holes, all without yeast!

Bread recipes without yeast can be just as tender, fluffy and fulfilling as their yeast-filled counterparts, so don’t hesitate to swap out the yeast in favor of other pantry staples that can still do all the heavy lifting: baking powder and baking soda. Speaking of swaps…

  1. Totally agree. Just piggybacking on what Jane wrote, we are all going through different, difficult times right now and it is so nice to have access to such a wonderful website. All the recipes on here come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and are absolutely fail-proof! I am a part-time nurse and a single mother of 2 beautiful children. Trust me, it has not been easy. With your help, Kelly, I feel so relieved. Thank you.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words, Rebecca! I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying Just a Taste. THANK YOU for being a healthcare hero during this time.

  2. Just want to say a BIG thank you for taking the time to post all the recipes that you do. Its been great for me as I’m really busy with our 2 foster children at home during lockdown, plus others from time to time. I can just go to you website or look at your posts and hey presto I can find stuff to make and recipes to make with the boys. They love the one on one time they get creating the great recipes you post. Whether its their turn to bake or to make a main meal its all there ready for them, and saves me time searching through the mountains of recipe books I;ve collected over the years. I think I’ll put them in the next book sale our town has because with all your recipes I’m collecting I don’t seem to need them anymore.
Once again many thanks, and God Bless you and you family.
