Celebrate summer and the 4th of July with these vibrant Red, White, and Blue Fruit Popsicles! Bursting with layers of fresh fruit and creamy yogurt, this homemade popsicle recipe offers a refreshing way to cool down on a hot day. Sweetened naturally with honey and packed with wholesome ingredients, these festive popsicles are the perfect healthy treat to make any summer celebration a little sweeter!
Nothing says “Happy Fourth of July!” quite like refreshing red, white, and blue desserts. If you’re ready to set off flavor fireworks, these Patriotic Fruit Popsicles are the way to go!
These sweets on a stick are loaded with fresh fruit and creamy yogurt. Best of all, they’re sweetened simply with a squeeze of honey, so you can feel good about second servings for both you and your tiny taste-testers.
How to Make Popsicles Without a Mold
Don’t let the lack of a traditional popsicle mold prevent you from making these treats. Grab the paper cups (drinking glasses also work well) and let the layering begin. You can also forgo the popsicle sticks for sturdy metal straws.
How Long Do Popsicles Last In the Freezer?
If they’re kept at a constant frozen temperature, popsicles can last up to 6 months in the freezer. I keep mine in the popsicle mold to prevent freezer burn from occurring.

Equipment
- Popsicle mold
- Popsicle sticks
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups strawberries, stemmed
- 2 Tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 5 Tablespoons honey, divided
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (whole or 2%)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 1/2 cups blueberries
- 1/4 cup pomegranate juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime zest
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the strawberries, lime juice and 2 tablespoons honey and blend until puréed. Divide the mixture evenly between the popsicle molds and freeze until firm, about 1 hour. Clean the blender and set it aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, coconut milk and remaining 3 tablespoons honey until smooth. Divide the yogurt mixture evenly among the popsicle molds, pouring it atop the frozen strawberry layer. Insert popsicle sticks into the center of each mold and freeze until firm, about 1 hour.
- In a blender, combine the blueberries, pomegranate juice and lime zest and blend until puréed. Divide the blueberry mixture evenly between the popsicle molds, pouring it atop the frozen yogurt layer, and freeze until firm, a minimum of 3 hours.
- When ready to serve, briefly run the popsicle molds under warm water then gently pull the popsicles from the molds and serve.
