Greek Yogurt Banana Bread

Slices of banana bread stacked on top of each other with bananas in the background.

There are more than two dozen banana bread recipes on Just a Taste, featuring every mix-in and flavor combination imaginable. High atop the list of beloved reader favorites is Greek Yogurt Banana Bread, starring a special ingredient that adds a protein punch, a touch of tang and ample moisture to every single bite. Stir in your choice of chocolate chunks or chopped nuts for a sliceable snack favorited by taste testers of all ages.

Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

What do you get when two iconic side salads join forces? Top-rated Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad made with refreshing Romaine lettuce, crunchy croutons, your noodles of choice and a homemade Caesar dressing. Keep it meat-free, or make it a main dish by tossing in diced rotisserie chicken, sliced steak or sautéed shrimp.

Quick and Easy Corn Fritters

No matter the season, Quick and Easy Corn Fritters are always a winning side dish. This recipe can be made with fresh, frozen or canned corn, which means hot, crispy corn fritters are only minutes away 365 days a year. Top off your stack with a cool dollop of sour cream or yogurt, or make them a meal by piling fried eggs on top.

Muffin Tin Mini Apple Pies

There are few things I can’t make in a muffin tin, and pies are no exception. Muffin Tin Mini Apple Pies feature a buttery homemade pie dough with a not-so-secret addition: fresh rosemary. The subtle hint of fresh herbs pairs perfectly with the tartness of Granny Smith apples and the warming richness of ground cinnamon.

Homemade Samoas Cookies

Homemade samoas cookies stacked seven high.

I was a proud Girl Scout for more than a decade, and high atop my list of most favorite endeavors was selling the iconic Girl Scout cookies. As far as I’m concerned, there are two types of people in the world: Samoas lovers and Thin Mint lovers. You are one or the other. You cannot be both. I will let you guess which side I’m on. Buttery shortbread. Caramel-coated toasted coconut. Chocolate drizzle. Say no more!

5-Minute Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

It’s hard to imagine that only 5 minutes and six simple ingredients separate you and the ultimate homemade chocolate buttercream frosting. One taste of this silky-smooth mix and you’ll be ditching the store-bought frosting for good. Slather it atop cake, cupcakes, brownies or any other baked good in need of a rich, chocolate hug.

5-Minute Healthy Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

Healthy strawberry frozen yogurt.

Eleven years ago I first shared this recipe for healthy frozen yogurt, and it’s safe to say that its’ popularity has withstood the test of time. Frozen strawberries (or any other fruit!), tangy yogurt, a squeeze of fresh lemon and a drizzle of honey combine for a cool, creamy dessert. All it takes is four ingredients and 5 minutes to satisfy any and all dessert cravings.

Easy Beef and Broccoli

Stir-fried beef and broccoli over a bed of rice on a white plate with chopsticks.

Of all the takeout-fakeout recipes on Just a Taste, classic Beef and Broccoli takes the #1 spot year after year. This one-pan meal stars tender beef slices and crisp broccoli stir-fried in the best garlicky soy sauce. There’s plenty of sauce (a.k.a. the best part!) so whip up a batch of rice or noodles as a side and your flavor-packed dinner is done.

Quick Korean Beef Bowls

A top-down view of two bowls containing Korean beef, white rice, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber and a fried egg

I’ve never met a bowl of Korean beef bulgogi I didn’t like. There’s just something about the rich flavor of the beef and balanced sweet-meets-spicy flavor of the sauce that delivers a big dinner (and even lunch, and leftovers) win. While traditional bulgogi is made with very thinly sliced steak, I’ve swapped in ground beef to make this recipe for Quick Korean Beef Bowls the fastest and most flavorful yet.

Baked Boursin Cheese Pasta

A white baking dish containing Baked Boursin Cheese Pasta with Sundried Tomatoes and Spinach sprinkled with parmesan cheese.

Baked cheese-turned-pasta-sauce is nothing new (looking at you, Baked Feta Pasta!), but it was about time we gave another cheese the spotlight. Creamy, herby Boursin cheese stole the show this year and served up countless 5-star reviews in my recipe for Baked Boursin Cheese Pasta with Sundried Tomatoes and Spinach. With just 5 minutes and a 5-minute prep time, this is one recipe in which simplicity truly shines.
